Bournemouth and Poole monthly house sales up a little under 20%
Bournemouth and Poole monthly house sales have increased by a little under 20% from around 340 houses in March to around 400 in April 2009 reported sales so far. Prices are falling gently but should begin to stabalise soon as volumes increase. Average house sale prices fell from £250,000 in March to £240,000 in April (down from a £280,000 peak sales price). One has to be very careful using averages - even when research is as local to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole property as YOUhome's. We believe like for like sale prices have fallen less than £10,000 per house between March and April.
