Laurence Lai

London Sales Director for YOUhome

Laurence first became an Estate Agent in 1990 and has spent most of his working life acting for clients in The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. He has successfully sold properties in Chelsea, Chiswick, Earls Court, Hammersmith, Kensington, Mayfair, Notting Hill and South Kensington. He was previously a Partner and Office Head at Knight Frank and prior to this was a Board Director at Faron Sutaria. Laurence specialises in the Prime and Super Prime London markets and has been instrumental in selling some of the finest houses and apartments in the capital.

Jerry Epton MRICS

Property Expert and Head of Office

Jerry is the Property Guru and Local Expert for W11, W2 and W10 starting out with Knight Frank as a graduate where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and went on to be a property developer with The Raven Group.  Jerry has lived in W11 for over 25 years and set up YOUhome’s London presence with the founder Adrian Black four years ago.

Jerry plays music professionally with a band of 30 plus years and plays tennis (less professionally) at Campden Hill Lawn Tennis Club.

Alexandra Mathew

Guru for W8 & W14

Alex, who has a degree in textile and fashion design, personally became inspired by property living in and assisting with the renovation of her family home in Kent. With over ten years’ experience as a top residential sales negotiator in Prime Central London, predominately in RBKC, she combines her passion for architecture and design, personal knowledge of the trials and tribulations of managing a listed home and her savvy business sense to provide a no nonsense approach to getting results for her clients.

Alex enjoys socialising with friends and can usually be found enjoying a Pinot Grigio in a local pub in RBKC. When she gets the time (or more importantly the motivation) she enjoys rock climbing and riding.

Alex’s property tip: before a viewing ensure all loo seats are down and beds are made. First impressions count.

Anita Sanford

Guru for SW3 & SW10

Anita has a wealth of property experience in Prime Central London having worked in Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge and Belgravia for nearly 20 years and having lived in Chelsea for nearly 10 years of that.  Her proven track record for selling houses and flats maintaining strong client and buyer relationships is complimented by her love of interior design and she has worked for individual clients in this capacity also.

Aside from work, Anita enjoys visiting the Royal Opera House for the ballet as well as visiting favourite eateries in The Royal Borough.

Her top tip for sellers is that presentation is key for first impressions so properties need to be decluttered and a fresh coat of paint goes a long way. Alongside this, the asking price is of paramount importance as pitched too high it will damage the impact the property has on the market and result in it going stale.

Davide Moi

Guru for SW5 & SW7

Davide joined YOUhome having worked in the prime Central London market, specifically in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, for nearly15 years. He has a background in property in his native Rome too and has a wealth of experience selling and advising international clients. He is a long time Chelsea resident and has a true passion for the Royal Borough and its varied areas and properties.

When not selling houses and apartments Davide, a keen cyclist, can be found riding his bike and clocking up the miles (or kilometres as he prefers to refer to) all the way to the Surrey Hills or the Kent countryside or taking part in gruelling cycling events, in the UK and abroad.

Davide’s property tip: to sellers is not to fall for the hype and unrealistic promises most estate agents are willing to dispense so easily and for a name or brand but to choose the company they want to be represented by on ground of maturity, experience and local knowledge of the individual who will be ultimately responsible for selling their most prized asset.

Adrian Black

Managing Director and Founder

Adrian has been a property specialist for 13 years following a career in technology and finance, latterly leading technology development for the Equities Division in Europe at Goldman Sachs . He has been local resident in Notting Hill and South Kensington for over 33 years and graduated from Imperial College.

Jeremy Priestley FRICS FARLA

Managing Director

Jeremy has been a property specialist for over 40 years, graduating from the College of Estate Management, then joining the Knight Frank graduate program. He has worked as a director of Hongkong Land Property, Canary Wharf Development Company and Arcadian International Plc, and also was the UK managing director of Hamptons International. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Association of Rental and Letting Agents. Jeremy invested in and joined YOUhome in 2007.
