The properties for sale in Earl's Court are therefore a reflection of architecture dating back to the late Victorian era.

The area has a beautiful array of streets and garden squares of striking four and five story terraced houses, many now converted into flats.

Gardens such as Barkston Gardens, Bramham Gardens, Collingham Gardens, Courtfield Gardens, Earl's Court Square, Nevern Square, Philbeach Gardens are stunning traditional residential squares with many magnificent properties fronting onto them. They have traditional cast iron railings surrounding the enclosed gardens and providing an oasis of tranquil countryside feel within central London.

In the heart of the area is Kensington Mansions, a fine example of a late 19th century purpose built residential mansion block with large apartments . Many large buildings in the area are currently used as embassies.

Just south of the Cromwell Road, the tranquil conservation area comprising Child's Place, Kenway Road, Wallgrave Road and Redfield Lane, locally known as the Kenway Village, contains fine examples of more modest terraced townhouses painted in pastel shades in a very picturesque setting with some fine floral displays.
